Houston 4-H club riders do well in state horse show

The Sandbed Stables 4-H Club of Houston County competed in the 4-H State Horse Show June 11-14 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter. In the Cloverleaf Division Elizabeth Holloman placed third in Walk Trot Hunter Under Saddle, fifth in Hunter Showmanship In-Hand and 10th in Western Showmanship In-Hand.

In the Junior Division, Erin Mcleod placed first in Western Riding, fifth in Reining, seventh in Ranch Trial and 10th in Western Horsemanship. Sophie McEntee placed second in Hunter Under Saddle, sixth in Hunter Showmanship In-Hand and seventh in Western Pleasure. Emily Williams placed third in Hunter Under Saddle and 10th Western Showmanship In-Hand. Parker Hogan was sixth in Trails, and honorable mention in Hunter Under Saddle. Kinser George placed sixth in Western Pleasure.

In the Senior Division, Brittany Green placed ninth in Reining. Rachel Kelly had honorable mention in Hunter Under Saddle.
