Tasha Yolanda Phillips

Bibb County grand jurors indicted a woman Tuesday on allegations she ran over her baby's father on Pio Nono Avenue May 9.

Tasha Yolanda Phillips, 30, is charged with murder in the death of 24-year-old Martegus Johnson, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.

Surveillance videos show Phillips' Ford Explorer making a U-turn on Pio Nono Avenue and running over Johnson in a post office parking lot.

Authorities have said the two fought during the short ride from the Pio Nono Avenue Kroger to Johnson's home on Cherokee Avenue. Johnson struck Phillips in the face as she drove. Johnson walked toward the post office after Phillips dropped him off at home.

Phillips gave birth to Johnson's baby about two weeks after her arrest. She is being held without bond at the county jail, according to jail records.
