WARNER ROBINS -- Houston County Commission Chairman Tommy Stalnaker will give a brief overview of the fiscal 2015 county government budget at the commission’s regular meeting Tuesday.

The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Houston County Annex at 202 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins. The final item on the agenda is a public hearing on the budget.

The county’s fiscal 2015 budget will look similar to fiscal 2014’s, said Commissioner Tom McMichael. The general fund budget for fiscal 2014 was $51.6 million, and the total budget was $115 million.

The Houston County commission will hold a second called meeting June 24 to adopt the fiscal 2015 budget, make year-end budget adjustments, pay year-end bills and consider any other end-of-year matters.
