Naked prowler ‘looking for sex’ tackles Macon woman

It was about midnight when an east Macon woman stepped outside for a smoke last week. She noticed something in her Jackson Springs Road backyard.

It looked like someone’s shadow, she later told a Bibb County sheriff’s deputy.

The woman walked over and found a “tall, thin, white male, naked,” a report of the June 4 incident noted.

The unclothed man had a white T-shirt thrown over his shoulder.

“What are you doing here?” the woman yelled.

“Looking for sex,” the man said.

The woman, who lives a mile or so from the Baconsfield Kroger, started to dart back inside but was tackled.

She yelled and tried to press the panic button on her car keys.

“He was pulling at her pants, but she was lying on the ground at the time and they did not come off,” the incident report said. “He started choking her and she kept screaming and kicking.”

Before long the man ran off down the driveway.

“It’s just terrifying,” the woman told The Telegraph by phone Tuesday.

She said her attacker might be in his 20s, but could be older.

“I just know he was tall and had long hair,” she said.

Sheriff’s investigators were looking into the episode.
