Students who earn certain degrees at Central Georgia Technical College will now be able to directly transfer to Valdosta State University.

The two institutions will sign an agreement Tuesday, allowing CGTC students who earn an Associate of Applied Science degree or an Associate of Applied Technology degree to continue their education at Valdosta State.

Those students can transfer to Valdosta State to earn a bachelor’s degree in human capital performance or organizational leadership, according to a news release.
