A second man has been charged with murder in Wednesday night’s slaying of Majesty Conover.

Lantonio Rodriques Hill, 25, of Ridgeland Avenue, was arrested Friday morning by U.S. marshals with the Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, according to a statement from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Hill was visiting a relative off Vineville Avenue when he was taken into custody about 9:45 a.m. Friday.

Witnesses said two men were arguing with Conover before he was shot in front of Building 16 at Colonial Terrace Apartments at 3775 Houston Ave.

Thursday afternoon, deputies arrested Hill’s roommate, 20-year-old Micki Antonio Brown Jr., who also lives at 3247 Ridgeland Ave., according to Bibb County jail records.

Both men are being held without bond in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Anyone with information about the killing is urged to leave a message for the on-call investigator at 751-7500 or leave an anonymous tip with Macon Regional Crimestoppers 877-68-CRIME.
