June 5, 2014

Cecelia Seiler, forever tied to Georgia sports because of a bulldog, died Thursday in Savannah after a long illness. She was 80.

Seiler and husband Sonny have given Georgia sports their famous bulldog mascot for more than a half-century.

The native of Columbus is survived by her husband, four children and seven grandchildren.
