Take The Sun to ... Washington, D.C.

June 4, 2014

The Bonaire Middle School Chorus, along with chorus teacher Julie McCoy, took The Sun News to Washington, D.C., to visit some museums and monuments. The group performed a number of songs to honor veterans at the World War II Memorial. In addition, they visited Arlington National Cemetery and saw the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Are you planning a vacation or business or family trip to some interesting or even exotic place? Take a copy of The Sun News with you, have someone snap a photo that clearly shows the treasure you are holding and preferably gives us at least a hint of where you are, and send us a copy of the picture. Be sure to include names, locations and a contact number in case we have questions. Email photos to awoolen@macon.com.
