A church group leader was indicted Tuesday on a statutory rape charge on allegations she had sex with a teenage boy from the church who'd been staying at her home.

Courtney Lyn Johnson, 32, of Forest Hill Road, allegedly had sex with the boy in September 2013, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.

The boy's aunt found several "disturbing and questionable" texts from Johnson on the boy's cell phone. She called Bibb County deputies after he said he'd been having inappropriate relations with Johnson since moving in with her family, according to an incident report.

Johnson was arrested on April 3 and was released the same day on $11,200 bond, according to Bibb County jail records.

Authorities have not released the name of Johnson's church.
