Bibb deputies are asking the public's help in identifying suspects from newly released images of Saturday's armed robbery at the Flash Foods at 4314 Pio Nono Ave.

Two stickups at the same store in three days have investigators trying to determine if a pair of armed robbers with a shotgun has struck again.

Just after 3 a.m. Saturday, two masked men in dark clothes robbed the store of cash and several cartons of cigarettes.

Before 3 a.m. Thursday, two men with a shotgun also robbed the cash register.

“It’s possibly the same two,” said Lt. Randy Gonzalez, a public information officer for the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. “Maybe they thought it was easy pickings and went back.”

Gonzalez urges convenience store owners to make sure their surveillance equipment is working correctly to aid investigators in identifying suspects.

Anyone with information in these robberies is urged to leave a message for the on-call investigator at 751-7500, or leave an anonymous tip with Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
