Masked men steal cash, cigarettes from Pio Nono store

Two masked men dressed in dark clothes robbed the Flash Foods at 4314 Pio Nono Ave. just after 3 a.m. Saturday.

One of the men had a shotgun as they took money from the till and grabbed several cartons of cigarettes before running away toward Glendale Avenue, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

One of the men, who might have been mixed race, had a lot of hair and was wearing a black shirt, a black bandana over his face and a black cap with a gray brim.

The second man had a dark complexion and was dressed in all black, with a black bandana on his face and a gray ski hat on his head.

Anyone with information is urged to leave a message for the on-call investigator at 751-7500 or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
