A Crimestoppers tip in an east Macon shooting led to the arrest of the alleged gunman and three others.

The Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force was serving several arrest warrants Tuesday morning on 19-year-old Amond Rashad when they found two guns and about 5.7 pounds of marijuana packaged for sale at a home on Roseview Drive.

The gang unit and special investigations unit of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office was called to assist in the arrest of three others in the house: Chatabeon Montez Gainey, 28, Kenyae Miguel Patterson, 19, and Chad Andre Matthews, 19, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Norwood was charged with four counts of aggravated assault in the May 21 shooting on Pinehill Drive where 23-year-old DeAngelo Stokes suffered a broken leg.

All four of the Macon men were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and participation in criminal street gang activity, the release stated.

Gainey also was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
