Macon teen shot at Montpelier grocery

A 16-year-old Macon teen was shot early Thursday at the Young’s Grocery at 2760 Montpelier Ave.

Tierance Samples was wounded in the leg and shoulder as he walked into the store at about 1:15 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Samples is in stable condition at a local hospital.

No one else was hurt, and no description of the shooter was available.
