Bibb children invited to free C.H.A.M.P.S. Camp

Children aged 9 to 15 are invited to register for free safety camps sponsored by the Bibb Sheriff’s Office Outreach Section and its new school program - Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety.

Each week in June, C.H.A.M.P.S. camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at different middle schools.

Camp begins next week at Rutland Middle School. Weaver Middle School will host camp June 9-13.

From June 16-20, camp will be at Appling Middle School and Ballard-Hudson Middle School hosts camp June 23-27.

Camps are limited to 75 children, who must provide a copy of their birth certificate.
