Monroe County emergency workers responded to a fire at a trailer Friday afternoon and discovered the body of its owner.

Larry Tenney, 57, lived alone in the trailer at 185 Towaliga Trail in Forsyth and had several medical issues, according to a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office news release. After a preliminary investigation, firefighters and investigators think the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring in the living room area.

Tenney’s body was taken to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab in Atlanta to determine cause of death but no foul play was suspected as of late Friday. The incident remains under investigation, the release stated.
