Woman dies after car crash in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS -- A Warner Robins woman has died after a car crash Tuesday night in the 200 block of Kingsbury Circle, police said.

Doris Allen, 64, was taken by ambulance after the 7:51 p.m. accident to Houston Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead by medical personnel, a police news release stated.

Allen was a passenger in a Buick LeSabre driven by her granddaughter, 20-year-old Chelsea Parmley of Nicholasville, Ky., the release stated. Parmley was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center of Central Georgia where she was listed in serious condition.

Parmley was driving the car eastbound on Kingsbury Circle when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree, the release stated.

No charges have been filed in the incident, which remains under investigation, the release stated.
