Man found shot in the head on Macon porch

A 28-year-old Macon man was found unconscious with a bullet wound in his head Wednesday morning.

Someone living in the 3700 block of Walker Avenue found Frankie Lee Fletcher Jr. on the front porch at about 3:15 a.m., according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Fletcher was in stable condition at a local hospital hours later.

Investigators would like to talk to anyone who knows who might have shot Fletcher on the short street that runs between Bloomfield Road and Bloomfield Drive.
