WARNER ROBINS -- A Byron woman is accused of cutting and stabbing her ex-boyfriend whom she dropped off at a hospital emergency room early Wednesday morning.
Nakeisha Shontavia Ellison, 24, was charged with aggravated assault/family violence in the attack on 27-year-old Samuel Lee Robinson, Houston County sheriffs records show.
Robinson was stabbed in the lower back and suffered a severe laceration to the right buttocks, said Houston County sheriffs Capt. Jon Holland. Robinson was recovering at Houston Medical Center, Holland said.
Warner Robins police earlier responded to an overnight domestic call involving Ellison and Robinson, Holland said. It was unclear Wednesday the location of the incident where the cutting and stabbing took place, but it was thought to have occurred within Houston County, he said.
According to the Houston County sheriffs incident report, a deputy responding to a 3:09 a.m. call from the hospital was waved down by medical staff standing beside a Honda Accord parked at the emergency room entrance.
A large amount of blood was visible on the front passenger side of the vehicle, and some blood was also on the sidewalk, the report stated. Ellison, who had blood on her pants, was seated in the drivers seat, the report stated.
Ellison told the deputy she did not know where the incident took place and that he would need to talk with Robinson, the report stated. Ellison asked to leave because she said she needed to pick up her child.
She allegedly refused to answer questions about what happened, the report stated.
She was not very forthcoming about information concerning the incident, Holland said. There were conflicting stories provided as to what had occurred.
Robinson told authorities he was assaulted by two unknown men, Holland said.
That did not seem to be accurate based on prior reports that the city had been on a domestic involving Ellison and Robinson in the 100 block of Wynfield Lane, where Robinson lives, Holland said.
Ellison and Robinson are thought to be ex-girlfriend and ex-boyfriend, and they have a 6-month-old child together, Holland said.
Ellison was being held Wednesday at the Houston County jail.
