Macon woman shot on Unionville street corner

A 39-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder Sunday night in Unionville.

Adrienne Mintz was in stable condition after the shooting shortly before 9:30 p.m. at the corner of Cedar and Moseley avenues, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators are interviewing witnesses and processing evidence in hopes of identifying the shooter.

Anyone with information is asked to contact deputies about what led to the gunfire a couple of blocks from the intersection of Pio Nono Avenue and Mercer University Drive.
