Former John Milledge standout Ashlan Ramsey plans to turn professional this summer, she told GolfWeek on Tuesday.

Ramsey plans to finish out her freshman season at Clemson but will not return to school in the fall. She will turn pro after playing in the Curtis Cup in June.

“I feel like I came into college with a very open mind,” Ramsey told GolfWeek's Cassie Stein. “I tried to get off to a good start and have a good run at Clemson, but I kind of thought, my game isn’t exactly where it wanted to be. … I wasn’t accomplishing the things I wanted to.”
