Georgia Military College will hold the schools 13th annual Military Tattoo as it retires the flag Friday evening on the east steps of the Old Capitol in Milledgeville.
The public is invited to the 6 p.m. ceremony, but guests are urged to arrive before 5:45 p.m.
The school will recognize the efforts of outstanding educators in the junior college and prep school during the Tattoo, which is an outdoor military exercise given by troops as evening entertainment, according to a news release from GMC.
The tradition will feature the John Mohr Mackintosh Pies and Drums Band, the GMC Color Guard and marching band.
The about 40-minute ceremony can be viewed from the walkways on both sides of the east steps of the Old Capitol.
