PERRY -- A Hawkinsville man has been indicted in connection with a series of burglaries last fall in the south end of Houston County.

A grand jury indicted 23-year-old Dakota Keith Williams on Tuesday on four counts of burglary related to incidents in the Elko community.

Williams is charged with burglarizing a home in the 2000 block of Elko Road on Oct. 3, another in the 500 block of Grovania Road on Nov. 12, and two in the 100 block of Terrell Road on Nov. 18.

Also indicted was 17-year-old Dontavious Rashod Arline of Warner Robins in connection with a burglary Jan. 7 in the 200 block of Wisconsin Avenue, within the Honey Ridge Plantation subdivision in Warner Robins.

Monday night, residents complained to Warner Robins city leaders about crime in the subdivision since September, which included five burglaries on Dunmurry Place from early February to early March. Five others were reported in the subdivision in February.

Three minors younger than 17 also have been arrested since January in connection with burglaries in the area, police said.
