Upcoming golf tournaments

The ninth annual Brig. Gen. Robert L. Scott Jr. Memorial Golf Scramble will be held at Healy Point Country Club in Macon. The four-person scramble will include a noon lunch at the clubhouse, greens fees, riding cart, range balls, a commemorative golf shirt and an evening birthday celebration buffet. Golfers have a choice of an 8 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. tee time. Super sponsors at $5,000 receive eight players, tournament sponsors at $2,500 receive four players, flag sponsors at $750 get two players and hole sponsors at $400 receive one player. Golfers and a guest are invited to an evening buffet and celebration at the Healy Point Clubhouse starting at 6 p.m. Tournament proceeds benefit the Museum of Aviation. The 12th Annual Houston County Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament will be held at The Landings Golf Club in Warner Robins. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m., and the shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Morning tee times are available by request. Sponsorship opportunities are available ranging from $100-$5,000. The Omega Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. will host the William L. Turner Golf Classic 2014 Tournament at International City Golf Course in Warner Robins.
