Final designs are ready for the Interstate 75 noise wall in the Pleasant Hill neighborhood. The Georgia Department of Transportation will show and discuss them at a public meeting Thursday, from 5-7 p.m., said Kimberly Larson, GDOT spokeswoman.

The meeting will be at the Booker T. Washington Community Center, 391 Monroe St., Macon. After a short presentation, area residents can talk to GDOT representatives.

GDOT plans to spend $10 million in Pleasant Hill on landscaping, house renovation and other improvements. The noise and visual barrier walls have been discussed at previous public meetings.
