The Band of Knights will be Middle Georgia State College's first marching band.

Auditions for The Band of Knights, Middle Georgia State College’s first marching band and colorguard, are underway and will continue through August.

Clad in white uniforms trimmed in black and purple, members of the marching band will perform at all Middle Georgia State home football games next fall.

“This is a great opportunity for high school marching band and colorguard members to continue their participation at the college level,” N. Alan Clark, who will direct the band, said in a statement released by the college.

The Band of Knights will be based on the Cochran campus, but any full-time Middle Georgia State student can take part in auditions.

An online form is available online at www.mga.edu for students interested in auditioning.
