Macon woman robbed at gunpoint in her driveway

A gunman robbed a Macon woman outside her home early Wednesday near downtown Macon.

About 3:15 a.m., the gunman confronted the victim as she was walking up her driveway in the 800 block of Prince Street, which is near Little Richard Penniman Boulevard and Telfair Street, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds, was dressed in all black and had a ski mask over his face, the release stated.

He left in an older model green or black Toyota Camry.
