Mercer Village is going ahead with plans for this evening's watch party as the Bears take on Tennessee.

"It looks like the rain is going to hold off," said Josh Lovett, program coordinator for the College Hill Alliance, who was spreading the word for organizers.

Organizers will set up chairs and a big screen TV on Montpelier Avenue, near Barnes and Noble.

The game tips off at 6:10 p.m.

Sunday’s watch party is being organized by Mercer, the College Hill Alliance and Mercer Village businesses.
