A Warner Robins truck driver was indicted Tuesday in the 2013 death of a man following a wreck on Macon's Pio Nono Avenue.

John Daniel Harmon, 30, is charged with homicide by vehicle and reckless driving, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.

Harmon was driving a flatbed truck hauling long, metal beams on Jan. 25, 2013, when he turned onto Pio Nono Avenue from a gas station near Rocky Creek Road. He allegedly failed to yield to 78-year-old Willie Evans Sr., of Warner Robins, who was driving a Cadillac on Pio Nono Avenue.

Evans' car became wedged under the truck following the collision.
