Macon man indicted in Christmas eve shooting

A 36-year-old Macon man was indicted Tuesday on two counts of aggravated assault in the Christmas eve 2013 shooting of a man on Broadway.

Ricky Bernard Lowder is charged in the shooting of Alvin Everett, of Macon. Everett was found on the ground along the 2600 block of Broadway with a gunshot in his lower back.

The indictment, filed in Bibb County Superior Court, also charges Lowder with aggravated battery.
