Lanes on Interstate 75 and several state routes in Middle Georgia will be closed intermittently this week for work.

Kimberly Larson, communications officer for the Georgia Department of Transportation, said the northbound right lane of I-75 will close at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday until 5 a.m. Wednesday from mile marker 214 to 216 in Henry County; and the two left lanes of southbound I-75 will close from 8:30 p.m. Wednesday until 5 a.m. Thursday between mile markers 207 and 208 in Spalding County.

The lanes will be closed for pavement repair, Larson said.

There also will be rolling lane closures from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on several state routes, from Wednesday through Friday, for road striping and marker installation.

Ga. 19 lanes in Bibb County will be closed between mile markers 8 and 14 on Wednesday night.

Ga. 19 lanes in Twiggs County will be closed between mile markers 9 and 23, while lanes of Ga. 358 in Twiggs County will be closed between mile markers 0 and 6.4 on Thursday night.

On Friday, lanes of Ga. 26 in Macon County will be closed between mile marker 0 and 24.

All work will be as weather permits, Larson said.
