Braves announce deal with Santana

The Atlanta Braves announced Wednesday morning that they have agreed to a one-year contract with pitcher Ervin Santana.

The 33-year-old Santana went 9-10 last year with a 3.24 ERA in 32 starts with Kansas City. Santana is 105-90 in nine major league seasons with the Los Angeles Angles (eight seasons) and Kansas City.

Santana has five seasons with double-digit wins in his career with a high of 17 wins in 2010.
