Household items are needed for a yard sale to benefit a Macon family who lost everything in a fatal fire.

Cross Keys U.M.C. is asking for donations for the Martin family’s immediate need and also want other items to be sold March 29 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church at 1825 Jeffersonville Road.

Items can be dropped off at the church Wednesday evenings between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Heritage at Houston at 4116 Houston Ave.

On Feb. 28, fire destroyed the Martin family’s house on Mimosa Drive. One of their 3-year-old twins, A’von Blake Martin, died in the blaze.
