Week-long investigation leads to drug bust in Forsyth

Drug investigators with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigations arrested four people Thursday after a week-long undercover operation at local motels in Forsyth.

Investigators arranged drug purchases in some cases through social networking sites and public advertisement sites. More arrests are expected, according to a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Bryant Lee Walton, 27, of Forsyth, was charged with possession and sale of crack cocaine, and possession of marijuana. Octavious Antoine Ashe, 33, of Forsyth, was charged with possession and sale of crack cocaine, and possession of marijuana. Gregory Lewis Ford, 43, of Warner Robins, was charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine and other dangerous drugs. Brittany Lee Humphries, 27, of Byron, was charged with possession and sale of crystal methamphetamine and other dangerous drugs.
