Two suspects sought in robbery at downtown garage

Authorities are looking for two men who alleged robbed someone at gunpoint Saturday afternoon on Third Street.

The incident happened at about 3 p.m. at Vicker’s Transmission shop, according to a Bibb Sheriff’s Office release.

Two men, one with a knife and one with a handgun, entered the garage area of the business and demanded money from the victim’s wallet. The suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

Both suspects were described as black males, possibly in their mid 40s, weighing 160 to 180 pounds and approximately six feet, two inches.

One was wearing a multi-colored cap, possibly an Atlanta Falcons cap. He was wearing a jacket of unknown color and blue jeans. He was armed with a pocket knife.

The other suspect was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and white tennis shoes. He was armed with a small, chrome, semi-automatic handgun.
