PERRY -- A Reynolds man has been indicted on an attempted murder charge in a Jan. 29 incident in Warner Robins.

The Houston County grand jury also indicted Daavin Manchez Harp, 26, on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm during a crime.

Harp is accused of shooting Billy Denson in the stomach outside his Warner Robins home, the indictment stated.

Harp, who had been robbed in Bibb County, allegedly thought Denson had set him up, said prosecutor Dan Bibler. Denson denied it, and Harp allegedly shot Denson as he was leaving, Bibler said.

Authorities caught up with Harp on Feb. 13 and arrested him in connection with the shooting, Houston County jail records show.
