Kinetix Health Club will officially open Wednesday in the Dannenberg building at 476 Third St. in downtown Macon.

It’s been nearly a year since the health club announced it would move into about 6,500 square feet of space in the Dannenberg at the corner of Poplar Street.

About 70 lofts will be on the building’s upper floors. Residents of Dannenberg Lofts will receive a gym membership, according to a news release.

This Kinetix will be owner Mark Cullars’ eighth location in Middle Georgia and the 16th in the Southeast.

The grand opening will be held at 11 a.m. at the fitness club, and the first 250 people will get a 14-day free trial as part of their membership.

The club will offer group fitness and personal training, nutritional counseling and child care. It will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The fitness club will be joined on the first floor by Kudzu Seafood Co., which is expected to open in April.
