WARNER ROBINS -- A Hawkinsville man is accused of pointing a pellet gun Sunday afternoon at a woman and her young children in the 100-block of Virginia Dare Drive.

Robert Lee Woolfolk, 62, was also charged with driving on a suspended license and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the 12:30 p.m. incident, a Houston County sheriff’s incident report stated. He’s being held in the Houston County jail on a $15,300 bond.

Woolfolk is accused of pointing what looked like a handgun at the mother and her two boys, ages 7 and 8, after she yelled at him to stop speeding up and down the street, the report stated.

He allegedly pulled his green 1996 Nissan Maxima in her driveway, and the two exchanged words. That’s when he allegedly pointed what she thought was a gun at them before speeding off, the report stated.

Sheriff’s deputies found Woolfolk, who they said smelled of alcohol, sitting outside a Sherry Lane residence, the report stated. He denied he had been driving. A pellet gun was found inside his vehicle parked nearby

Woolfolk is a habitual drunken driving violator, the report stated. He also has been convicted of aggravated assault.
