The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two homicides that occurred in separate incidents Saturday night.

The first happened at 7 p.m. on Anthony Road within Tom Foutaine Field. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said a 16-year-old male was shot multiple times and pronounced dead. He declined to name the victim, he said, because the victim is a juvenile.

The second homicide happened at about 10:10 p.m.

Bridgette Flowers, 37, was shot in the face at her Maynard Street home, Jones said. She was pronounced dead at 10:40 p.m.

Flowers was in her 2005 white Chrysler Town and Country minivan with four others when the shooting happened, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, but it was not immediately clear if she was driving.

An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were also shot in the incident.

The woman was taken with Flowers to The Medical Center of Central Georgia. She is in stable condition. The man refused medical treatment, the release stated.
