Macon man indicted in 2013 attempted murder

Bibb County grand jurors have indicted a 19-year-old Macon man in the attempted murder of a man at Villa West Apartments, 4006 Mercer University Drive, in April 2013.

Jarvis Marques Streeter, of Nassau Place, is charged with criminal attempt to commit a murder, aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.

Streeter is accused of shooting then-22-year-old Brad Mintz at about 12:05 a.m. Apr. 19.

Streeter has been held at the county jail since his arrest on the day after the shooting. His bond is set at $4,200, according to jail records.
