Gunfire blasts Fort Hill home

Bibb County deputies are asking the public’s help in finding the man behind a burst of gunfire in Fort Hill on Saturday night.

The gunfire came at around 11 p.m. Saturday, aimed at a home in the 800 block of Fort Hill Street. No one was injured in the incident.

Deputies have not released a detailed description of the suspect.

Investigators are interviewing witnesses. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 751-7500 to leave a message for the on-call investigator, or to call Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at (877) 68-CRIME.
