The Bibb County Sheriffs Office is offering a gun safety class.
The two-day class will cover state laws and how to safely load, unload and use a gun, according to a sheriffs office news release. It will be held Monday and Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at the sheriffs office training division located at 1166 Jackson St.
To be eligible to attend participants must be 21 years old and not be a convicted felon. A gun background check will be done the first night of class, unless participants have the new carry conceal permit. The class is free, but space is limited.
