The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is offering a gun safety class.

The two-day class will cover state laws and how to safely load, unload and use a gun, according to a sheriff’s office news release. It will be held Monday and Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at the sheriff’s office training division located at 1166 Jackson St.

To be eligible to attend participants must be 21 years old and not be a convicted felon. A gun background check will be done the first night of class, unless participants have the new carry conceal permit. The class is free, but space is limited.

For more information or to register, contact Lt. Ellis Sinclair at 478-803-2710.
