SPECIAL TO THE TELEGRAPH

WARNER ROBINS -- Police on Tuesday asked for the public’s help identifying the owner and any drivers of a Chevrolet Tahoe seen near the site of a fatal shooting last month.

The blue SUV “may be involved in the homicide investigation” at the Murphy USA Oil gas station in front of the Booth Road Wal-Mart, police said. Police said they would not release any other information, other than to say they want to speak with the Tahoe’s owner and anyone who knows anyone who’s been driving it.

The picture appears to have been taken from next to the Wal-Mart, and at least one passenger is visible.

Monnie Joseph Brabham IV, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene near the gas pumps Jan. 23. A police report suggests the killing may have been related to a car theft, but police will not discuss it. Brabham drove a silver 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood. The report states he was killed with a shotgun.

Police initially said they may be looking for two men. They have not released descriptions of any suspects.
