Microsoft rep to demo cloud computing platform in Macon

A Microsoft guru is coming to Macon next week.

Tommy Patterson, Microsoft’s “technical evangelist,” will give an inside look at Windows Azure, the cloud computing platform, at 2 p.m. Monday in the Math Building auditorium at Middle Georgia State College campus in Macon, according to a news release.

The event will include demonstrations, videos and discussions about virtual machines in the cloud, Windows Server 2012 R2 and virtual networking, according to the release.
