Virginia Tech

Signees: 28

Georgia Ties: Virginia Tech signed Athens Academy kicker Michael Santamaria.

Three to watch:

Holland Fisher, S, 6-1, 200, Fork Union Military

Fisher is 247Sports’ top prep school player in the nation. The former Under Armour All-American spurned offers from Alabama and Ohio State.

Shai McKenzie, RB, 5-11, 210, Washington, Pa.

McKenzie missed most of his senior year, but is listed as the No. 25 running back in the nation by Rivals.

Marshawn Williams, RB, 5-11, 215, Hampton, Va.

Williams rushed for 2,192 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior and is 247Sports’ No. 15 running back in the nation.

Grade: A-, The Hokies ended up in the top third among ACC classes and pushed the top 25 nationally. McKenzie and Williams could form an extremely potent duo in the backfield, and they are two of 12 247Sports’ four-star recruits to sign with the Hokies.
