Virginia

Signees: 17

Georgia Ties: The Cavaliers went into Gwinnett County to pull out cornerback Darious Latimore (Central Gwinnett) and running back Jordan Ellis (Peachtree Ridge).

Three to watch:

Quin Blanding, S, 6-2, 210, Virginia Beach, Va.

Blanding is a consensus top 15 prospect nationally, regardless of position, and was an Under Armour All-American.

Andrew Brown, DT, 6-4, 280, Chesapeake, Va.

Brown is probably one of the most high-profile signees in recent memory, ranking as 247Sports’ ninth-best prospect overall in the nation.

Jamil Kamara, ATH, 6-2, 210, Virginia Beach, Va.

Kamara led his school to a state championship, catching 69 passes for 1,399 yards and 23 touchdowns. He played in the U.S. Army All-America game.

Grade: B, The state of Virginia had three of 247Sports’ top 10 prospects in the country. The Cavaliers landed two of them. It’s a small class, but Brown and Blanding are two of the best players to sign with head coach Mike London.
