Veterans defensive tackle Cortez Broughton committed to Cincinnati on Tuesday, flipping from Middle Tennessee State.

Broughton committed to Middle Tennessee State on July 3, but he decided to take one final visit to Cincinnati on Jan. 17 to be sure of his commitment.

He decided to change his mind and commit to Cincinnati on Tuesday afternoon.

Broughton will be the Warhawks’ first FBS signee in football. He was an All-Middle Georgia selection and The Telegraph’s Houston County defensive player of the year. He helped lead the Warhawks to a region title and their first state playoff appearance this past season.
