Barbershop employees robbed at gunpoint

Gunmen robbed two employees of a barbershop at the Macon Flea Market, 3670 Eisenhower Parkway, at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday as the two left the business, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The two suspects allegedly brandished long barrel shotguns while demanding money. They struck one employee in the head, causing minor injuries, according to the release.

The gunmen left with an undisclosed amount of cash and a laptop computer. The injured employee was treated by paramedics and released, according to the release.

Both gunmen have been described as being 5-foot, 5-inch tall black men. One was wearing a white ski mask, white T-shirt and the rest of his clothes were dark-colored. The other suspect was wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing, according to the release.
