A 17-year-old boy admitted drinking alcohol and then playing with his fathers revolver Saturday afternoon before shooting himself in the leg.
The incident happened on Whisper Lane in Macon, according to an incident report from the Bibb County Sheriffs Office.
The teen told the reporting deputy that he retrieved his fathers Ruger revolver from a drawer in his room. He pointed it at his leg and pulled the trigger, the report stated.
Two other teenagers were in the room when the incident happened, and all of them gave the same account. They had all been drinking, the report stated.
