Woman charged with aggravated assault after cutting another woman during dispute, authorities say

A 37-year-old Macon woman is charged with aggravated assault after cutting another woman during a dispute Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.

Latashial Crittle, 37, and Nastasha Fort, 33, got into a dispute about 5 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Houston Avenue, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Crittle cut Fort and fled.

Authorities later found Crittle and took her into custody. She was charge after being questioned and is being held in the Bibb jail.

Fort’s injury was not life threatening and she refused treatment, according to the release.
