2 men rob Shurling Drive Dollar General at gunpoint

Two armed men robbed a Dollar General, 2480 Shurling Drive, about 8:15 p.m. Saturday.

The suspects confronted two store employees at the front register and demanded money, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects fled. No one was injured during the incident.

The robbers were both about 6 feet tall. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a white T-shirt covering his face. The other was wearing a black shirt, black pants, black shoes and white T-shirt covering his face. Both suspects were armed with handguns.

Anyone with information about incident is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for an on-call investigator or Macon Regional CrimeStoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
